1939 – 2003
LEWISTON – Irene A. Dube, 63, of 70 Blake St., Lewiston, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 18, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston on Sept. 24, 1939, she was the daughter of Frank and Adrienne Gagne Dubois. Educated in local schools, she was employed at Clark Shoe for several years, and then on May 10, 1958, she was married to Guy J. Dube in Holy Family Church.
A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed crafts, knitting, and taking care of her family. A member of Holy Family Parish, she was a communicant of Ss. Peter & Paul Church, and belonged to the Jacques Cartier Club and Sabattus Senior Citizens.
Besides her husband of 45 years, she is survived by a son, Roland of Bangor; two daughters, Jeanne Dube of Coral Springs, Fla., and Denise and husband David Chouinard of Lewiston; and a sister, Jeanne and husband Denis Cloutier of Auburn.
