WEBSTER, Mass. – Steven C. White Sr., 65, of 209 Main St., Gilbertville, Mass., formerly of Rutland, Vt., and Rockland, died Monday, Aug. 18, in Hubbard Regional Hospital.

He was born in Lewiston, son of Thomas C. and Barbara (White) White. He graduated from Edward Little High School and attended the University of Virginia.

Mr. White worked as an Insurance Investigator with the Markell Co., and was an avid sports fan.

He leaves his wife, Penelope L. (Young) White; a son, Steven C. White Jr. of Kennesaw, Ga.; three daughters, Judith Gaumond of Gilbertville, Pamela White of Ware, Mass., and Priscilla White of Worcester, Mass.; a brother, Walter White of Worcester; a sister, Martha McGonagle of South Thomaston; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
