1919 – 2003
AUBURN – Lillian G. LaBrecque, 94, of 1124 Sabattus St., Lewiston, died Friday, Aug. 15, at Clover Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past three months.
Born in Lewiston, May 30, 1919, she was the daughter of Joseph and Odile Bosse LeMay. She was married to Conrad P. LaBrecque, who passed away on Jan. 10, 1994 after 62 years of marriage.
Lillian and C.P. were partners for 30 years in the C.P. LaBrecque Construction Co., with Mrs. LaBrecque overseeing the clerical and financial matters. She was educated in local schools, she was a founder and first treasurer of the Holy Rosary Credit Union (now Sabattus C.U.) and later employed at the Holy Family and Bates Mill Credit Unions. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.
Survivors include three sons, C. Paul LaBrecque and wife, Alice of West Falmouth, John L. LaBrecque and Shirley Bensen of Washington, D.C., and Daniel R. LaBrecque and wife, Elaine of Poland Spring; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Her warm smile and bottomless enthusiasm will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
