LEWISTON – Valier J. Beaulieu, 76, formerly of 81 Ash St., Lewiston, died Thursday, Aug. 21, at d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.
Born in Lewiston, July 30, 1927, the son of Belonie and Euphemie (Cyr) Beaulieu, he had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was educated in Lewiston schools. In his younger years he was employed as a laborer for Lewiston Crushed Stone Co., until his retirement due to his illness.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. Mr. Beaulieu enjoyed playing cards and beano. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include one brother, Louis Beaulieu of Lewiston; one sister, Aurore Lepage of East Hartford, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Amedee Beaulieu; and one sister, Cecile Dumond.
