BRIDGTON – Donna Jean Curry, 51, of Naples died of lung cancer Aug. 22, at the Bridgton Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1952, in Bridgton a daughter of Viola Rand Hazelton and Roland Edwin Durgin. Mrs. Curry married Charles Thomas Curry on March 21, 1971.
She worked at the Andrews Nursing Home in South Paris as a geriatric nurses assistant and at Dielectric in Raymond. Mrs. Curry became a housewife and volunteered at Beacon Lanes making her “special” pizzas.
She loved to cook, shop, travel and held a special love in her heart for animals. Her happiness was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter “Mogee”.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; her daughter, Christy Elaine Jean Curry; her son, Thomas Charles Curry; her granddaughter, Morgan Baylee Stokes; two sisters, Darlene Shackley, Dena Barricks; two brothers, Roland Edward Durgin, Ronald Earl Durgin; four stepsisters, Jayne Wilner, Bonnie Sprague, Deenie Page, Pam Bennett; her stepbrother, Jim Bennett.
She was predeceased by her father; her stepsister, Sherry McDonald; and her stepbrother, Ray Bennett.
