FAYETTE – Students at Fayette Central School will begin classes Wednesday, Aug. 27. The first day off will be Labor Day, Sept. 1.

On Oct. 13 there will be no school for Columbus Day, and on Nov. 11 students will be off for Veterans Day. There will be a teacher’s workshop Nov. 10 with parent-teacher conferences Nov. 26.

There is no school during these teacher workshop and parent-teacher conference days. The first trimester ends Nov. 14 and there will be a Thanksgiving break Nov. 27 and 28.

Christmas break will be Dec. 22 to 31, but students will not actually return to school until Jan. 5 due to the New Year’s holiday.

February vacation will be from Feb. 16 to 20. The second trimester ends March 12, with parent teacher conferences being held March 26.

April vacation will be from April 19 to 23. There will be an early-release day May 12 and students will have May 31 off for Memorial Day. Students will be let out at noon on early-release day.

On June 1 a teacher’s workshop will be held, and June 11 is the expected last day of school, including five storm days. This is also the date the third trimester ends. If the storm days are not used, school will let out earlier and if more then five storm days are used, school will let out later in June.
