NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital is offering classes next month for people living with arthritis.

Starting Sept. 2 through Oct. 10, aquatics classes will be taught in the indoor pool in the Physical Rehabilitation Department of the Ripley Office Building at 193 Main St. Classes are scheduled from 8 to 9 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Wednesdays and Fridays; and 1 to 2 p.m. and 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There is a fee of $5 per class and advance registration is required due to a limit of 10 people per session.

The exercise classes, called People with Arthritis Can Exercise, begin Sept. 22 and run through the year. They are taught from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays in the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building. The cost per class is $2. No advance registration is required.
