LEWISTON – The Woman’s Hospital Association of Central Maine Medical Center gallery will feature the art work of David A. Footer during September.
Footer, a resident of Lewiston, is an internationally known wilderness and wildlife artist. He has been involved in nature and wildlife since childhood. Through his painting, prints and other art works, he hopes to preserve memories by reproducing exactness of color in fish mounting.
Footer has traveled the Canadian wilderness for more than 40 years. The show will contain some recent works resulting from the inspirations he received during his last trip to Labrador.
The exhibit may be viewed in the main corridor of Central Maine Medical Center throughout September. Information on purchasing the items on exhibit is available at the Gift Shop.
The Woman’s Hospital Association is an organization that supports Central Maine Medical Center and its patients by promoting the health and welfare of the community and by raising money to fund special projects.
