FARMINGTON – In conjunction with Prostate Health Month, registrations are now being accepted for the September Prescriptions for Health presentation featuring Dr. Michael Parker, a local urologist with offices in Farmington and Rumford.

The presentation entitled, Prostate Health: What You Should Know, will take place from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in the Bass Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Parker’s presentation will describe common prostate conditions, signs and symptoms, diagnostic procedures, treatment options and more. There will be ample time for questions and answers.

The American Foundation for Urologic Disease sponsors National Prostate Health Month to heighten awareness of prostate health and to encourage men to seek professional help for any prostate difficulties.

Registration for the presentation is requested. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information or to register, call Jill Gray at 779-2555.
