I have been attending the balloon festival since it began and really enjoyed it very much.

This year for my birthday, I went on a long-anticipated balloon ride. Looking forward to the ride, and as the day drew nearer, anticipation grew. The day finally came.

The lift off was beautiful and smooth, the views were awesome and breathtaking followed by a great, safe landing.

Total elapsed time was only 30 minutes and 9 seconds. I timed it. To my total amazement and disappointment, my approximate hour balloon ride was reduced by 50 percent, but the fee of $175 remained the same. (Big bucks for 30 minutes.)

Maybe the rides should be sold by the hour, minutes? A fair price should be for all, not just the owner of the balloons.
