LEWISTON – The final 2003 meeting of the Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center on Birch Street.

Among the items on the agenda is the election of officers.

LEWISTON – There will be an important meeting of the Multi-Purpose Center Coed Volleyball League, Thursday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. in Room B at the MPC on Birch Street.

Anyone interested in organizing a team or participating on one should attend.

Baseball players sought

MARIETTA, Ohio – Coast To Coast Athletics is recruiting Maine youth baseball players (ages 11-12, 13-15, 16-18) to represent the USA in international competition in Puerto Rico and Australia. Those selected will compete against international all-star teams during the 2003-2004 winter, spring and summer school breaks.
