1915 – 2003

LEWISTON – Bernadette J. Poulin, 87, of 61 Goff St., Auburn, died Thursday, Aug. 28, at the d’Youville Pavilion Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since late July.

Born in St. Rock de Quebec, P.Q., Canada, she was the daughter of Alfred and Marie Anne Sergerie Jean. Educated locally, she was married to Maurice Poulin on Oct. 29, 1955, and they made their home on Washington Street in Auburn for many years. Mr. Poulin passed away on May 8, 1996.

A member of Sacred Heart Parish, she also belonged to the ACA, and enjoyed playing cards with her many friends.

Survivors include a niece, Gisele Clavet of St. Raymond, P.Q., Canada; and a sister-in-law, Jeanne and husband Roland Poulin of Auburn, with whom she resided for the past eight years.
