GOULDSBORO – The 108th annual meeting of the Tracy Reunion Association Inc. was held on Aug. 17 with 112 people present. Bingo was played in the morning and a potluck lunch was served at 1 p.m. There was also softball and whiffle ball available.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: Ruby Tracy of New Sharon, president; Terry Tracy of Houlton, vice president; Robert Adams of Brewer, treasurer; and Candy Rolfe of Sorrento, secretary. Newly elected trustees were Ernie Tracy of Wolfeboro, N.H., and Donna Tracy of Farmington.
The watercolor collage of Maine lighthouses, done by artist Tom Tracy, was won by Karen Porter of Worcester, Mass. Doralies Sawyer Bobryk of Jonesport won the award for senior family member present.
James Joseph Oakes, 3 months of Farmington, won the trophy for youngest family member present; Marjorie Lucas of Florida won the trophy for traveling the greatest distance and Roberta Moore of Somerset, Mass., won the runner-up trophy for traveling the greatest distance.
Reunion
WILTON – The annual Norton-Osborne-Wagner reunion was held on Aug. 24 at Kineowatha Park with more than 80 people present.
Members attended from Skowhegan, Madison, Readfield, Farmington, New Sharon and Starks.
The business meeting was called to order by President Ruby Tracy after a potluck lunch. Martha Wing read the secretary’s minutes and Peter Tracy gave the treasurer’s report.
It was voted to hold next year’s meeting at Kineowatha Park on Aug. 29. Officers re-elected for the coming year were Ruby Tracy, president; Selina Wing, vice president; Peter Tracy, treasurer; and Martha Wing, secretary.
George Osborne of Farmington received the trophy for the senior family member present. James Joseph Oakes, 3 months of Farmington, received the trophy for the youngest member present. Bernice (Wagner) Williams of Pensacola, Fla., traveled the greatest distance.
There were approximately 20 door prizes won by family members after the meeting.
