Before you get a pet, think about it. That cute dog or cat won’t stay small forever.
If you have small children, don’t expect them to care for the pet you brought home. If you aren’t willing to take care of this animal when your child grows tired of it, maybe you should consider not getting it.
We all get excited about a new pet. After watching it grow, some people decide to just get rid of it. How will your discarded pet survive?
This once tame and loving pet becomes scared and mean, and becomes a problem that others have to deal with.
So please take time to think long and hard before getting a new kitten or puppy. Are you willing to keep this pet and make it a part of your family?
