F. Phillip Langley

A 1959 graduate of Dartmouth College, Langley is director of racing for both Balmoral Park and Maywood Park. He had served as director of racing and racing secretary at Sportsman’s Park for over 30 years.

Langley is a member of the Advisory Board to the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Strategic Planning Council, and the North American Harness Racing Secretaries Association. He serves as treasurer of Racing Industries Charity Foundation.

He was inducted into the Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Hall of Fame in 1994. Langley is married with three children.

• Managed Latonia Racecourse in Florence, Kentucky

• Managed the harness track in Hamilton, Ohio

• Has been the manager of Lebanon Raceway for the past 50 years

• Is a trustee of both Grandview and Southview Hospitals in Dayton, Ohio and have been for the past 36 years.
