I am writing to voice my horror of what happened to the little 12-pound poodle in Weare, N.H.

The monsters that abused that little helpless dog, when they are caught and convicted, should have three things happen to them: a huge fine; some jail time; and 100 hours community service at an animal shelter. Maybe this would smarten them up.

This was a very inhumane act and the guilty “morons” should not get off with a slap on the wrist.
