KENNEBUNK – Mrs. Charlotte Theresa (Gibbs) Wills, 91, a resident of Wood Pond Lane in Kennebunk, formerly of Ogunquit, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 4, at her home surrounding by her daughter, her loving caregiver Susan Calder, Carol Gann, RN, and Megan Smith of Beacon Hospice.

She was born in Littleton, N.H., on Feb. 11, 1912, a daughter of Herbert and Theresa (Delaney) Gibbs and attended Edward Little High School in Auburn and graduated from University of Maine at Orono.

She was a long-time teacher and was the last teacher at Burnham School in Arundel. She later taught in North Berwick, York Beach and York Village school system.

She was predeceased by her husband William Wills and her brother Richard Gibbs. She is survived by her daughter Claudia Wills of Kennebunk.
