U.S. Sen. Susan Collins doesn’t like gas price gouging any better than the rest of us in Maine. Thank goodness. I assumed all in Washington were bed partners of big oil, including the top man.

Could it be possible that Maine’s gas tax (one of the highest in the nation) along with all that oil from Alaska going to other countries might be a problem?

Can it also be possible that all that oil being taken off the market and pumped into the national reserve might be a problem?

I kind of hope a Collins turns up the heat in Washington. Maine folks don’t like keeping warm with Washington hot air and taking hits from big oil and friends. Maybe it’s time to disclose big oil’s bedmates.
