Accidents
Lewiston

• Manny J. Wing, 22, of East Poland, lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail at 6:20 a.m. Thursday on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge. Damage to his 1997 Volkswagen was estimated at $4,000.

• Christopher A. Phinney, 19, of Bowdoinham, lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole at 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Grove Street. Damage to his 1999 Chevrolet was estimated at $8,000; to the Central Maine Power Co. pole, $3,000.

• Therese A. Michaud, 58, of Auburn, lost control of her vehicle and struck two parked vehicles owned by Elaine Law, 37, of Lisbon and Betsy J. McFadden, 45, of Greene, at 6 a.m. Friday at the Central Maine Medical Center parking lot. Damage to Michaud’s 2000 Toyota was estimated at $4,000; to Law’s 2002 Ford, $2,000 and to McFadden’s 2001 GMC, $200.

Auburn

• A vehicle driven by Mary E. Austin, 79, of Turner, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Roland Bellavance, 53, of Auburn, while Bellavance was stopped in traffic at 10:33 a.m. Monday on Oak Hill Road. Damage to Austin’s 1997 Mercury was estimated at $4,000; to Bellavance’s 1996 GMC, $2,500.
