I take issue with your use of the headline “Habitat Home Busted” on the front page of the city section of the Thursday edition. (Sept. 4)

In what way is the manner in which this home was paid for three years ago relevant to this story? If the home had been financed by a local bank, would the headline and story have led with that fact, or even been included? I think not. Worthy organizations that serve the disadvantaged, like Habitat for Humanity, must find it difficult enough to raise funds without being needlessly associated with an incident of this type.
