1909 – 2003

LEWISTON – Antoinette D. Bisson, 93, of 20 Great Falls Plaza, Auburn, died Monday, Sept. 8, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, after a short illness.

Born in Lynn, Mass., Dec. 20, 1909, the daughter of Mathias and Albertine Charron Bisson, she came to this community in 1914 and was educated in Lewiston schools.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Knapp Shoe Co. as a stitcher. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and enjoyed her weekly lunches with her sisters and the company of her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include three half-sisters, Alice Fournier and Laurette Moore, both of Lisbon and Therese Mathieu of Lewiston; two half-brothers, Gerard Bisson and Ovila Bisson and his wife, Armande, all of Lewiston; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mabel Bonneau, Juliette Dick and Emeline Belanger; two brothers, Albert and Leo Bisson; and three half-brothers, Eugene, Robert and Roland Bisson.
