FARMINGTON – Dan Bradford scored all three goals as Bates blanked the University of Maine at Farmington 3-0 in men’s soccer action.

Goalie Noah Peet made five saves for the Beavers (0-1) in the loss.

AUBURN – Josh Bourque went 3-for-4, including a double, and scored three times as CMCC edged SMCC 7-6 in fall baseball action.

Mike Sproul struck out five batters.

Women’s soccer
USM 2, St. Joseph’s 1

STANDISH – Freshman Laura Gagnon scored the game winning goal late in the second half to lift Southern Maine to a 2-1 over St. Joseph’s.

Eva Hanson netted a goal for the Huskies (3-0), while Devin Edwards and Kelsey Shamano were each credited with an assist. Rachel Kwantz made two saves for the Huskies win.
