TOPSHAM – In a game that went into double overtime, Lewiston and Mt. Ararat drew to a 1-1 tie in KVAC soccer action.

With 8:10 left in the second half, Hamdi Naji received a pass from Nate Farnsworth and netted the ball into the far corner to give Lewiston the lead.

Kyle Leduc tied the game for the Eagles with 1:52 left as he converted a header from Max Fenwick.

Goaltender Eric Grenier led the strong defensive effort for the Blue Devils (0-1-1), making 18 saves. In net for the Eagles (1-0-1) was Ryan Vermette with 10 saves.

Rangeley 3, Greenville 2

RANGELEY – Steven Vansorene scored the winning goal off a corner kick late in the second half to lift Rangeley to a 3-2 win over Greenville in soccer action Tuesday.

Jimmy Goodwin netted two goals, while Tyler Philbrick recorded two assists for the Rangeley (1-1) win.

The Greenville (0-2) effort was led by Jonah Lizotte and Jim Gravella, who each scored a goal.

Mark Littlehale made four saves on five shots for Rangeley.

Oxford Hills 10, Morse 0

SOUTH PARIS – Cody Scoville compiled four goals as Oxford Hills sailed to a 10-0 victory over Morse in KVAC boys’ soccer action.

The Vikings (2-0) received excellent offensive support from Alan Knapik with three goals and Willy Libby with another pair. Twin brothers Leif and John Melhus left the Shipbuilders (0-2) seeing double as they provided superb defense for the Vikings.
