PARIS – The Maine Tourism Commission’s Natural Resources Committee in conjunction with the Maine Office of Tourism will hold a public forum from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
The commission recently established a Natural Resources Committee consisting of commission members, representatives from throughout the tourism industry, state agencies, nonprofit organizations and a number of independent stakeholders.
The committee will research and report on potential policy and programs addressing issues pertaining to the relationship between the tourism industry and the use and protection of Maine’s natural resources.
