LIVERMORE FALLS – Directors of SAD 36 will discuss this fall’s enrollment figures when they meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Street Facility.

This year’s total enrollment lists 1,044 students, up 18 over last year’s school opening with 1,026.

The increase is all at Livermore Elementary where there are 476 students as compared to 452 last year. The Middle School and High School each show a decline of three students, with 272 students at the former and 396 in the High School this fall.

In other business, the board will vote on the revised transportation services policy, the social studies curriculum and substitute pay.

The board members will also review the lunch program and set dates for a retirement and welcoming banquet, a board retreat and a joint meeting with Jay.

Directors have indicated their willingness to serve on several board subcommittees. On Administrative Screening are Denise Rodzen, Jean Tardif, Kim LaVoie, Jackie Knight, Cindy Young and Elaine Smith. Serving on the Scholarship committee are Rodzen, Tardif, Knight and Smith.

Representing the district on Vocational Advisory are Russell Flagg and Jackie Knight, and on Buildings and Grounds are LaVoie, Fred Nadeau and Flagg.

Nadeau, Knight and Ashley O’Brien will work on negotiations; Tardif, Rodzen, Knight, Smith, Young and Rod Newman on School Improvement; and Tardif, Rodzen, Knight and O’Brien on Finance.

Serving on Policy will be Tardif, Rodzen, Beth Parker, Betsy DuBois, Young and Smith. and working on Transportation are Tardif, Rodzen, Parker, Knight and Newman.
