1917 – 2003
LEWISTON – Loretta C. MacKinney, 86, of Lewiston, died on Sept. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Canada, Aug. 5, 1917, the daughter of Omer and Philippine (Nadeau) Gagne.
She worked at Crest Shoe for 25 years. She was a 35-year member of the First Assembly of God Church of Lewiston. She enjoyed knitting and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Gerard Gagne of Lewiston; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John MacKinney; son, Joseph Gagne in 1995; sisters, Rose Cloutier and Marie Gagne Bourassa; and brothers, Albert and Felix Gagne.
