NORWAY – Healthy Oxford Hills announces a $500 grant to Valley View Orchard Pies of Hebron to support wellness activities among its employees. The purpose of this project is to create healthier work environments in order to increase productivity, and job satisfaction while also decreasing employee absenteeism, workers compensation complaints and the cost of health insurance.

Joe Wyman, project director for Healthy Oxford Hills, will work with the staff of Valley View on a variety of projects. So far that has consisted of a walking program, and a survey asking employees what kind of wellness activities they would like.
