DIXFIELD – Ten minutes into the Board of Selectmen’s meeting at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, in the town office, a public hearng will be held.
The purpose of that hearing is to discuss plans to use $20,000 in grants to develop a Capital Improvement Plan for the Dixfield Water Department.
The selectmen’s meeting agenda includes the following topics, for which no explanation was provided on the agenda:
• John O’Donnell, assessor.
• Post Office lease.
• Correspondence regarding big rigs using engine brakes (known as Jake Brakes) at the pedestrian crossing.
• General assistance ordinance.
• Approve withdrawal of reserve funds for new police cruiser.
Discussion will continue on the Confined Space Entry Program and an executive session is slated to discuss a personnel issue.
