Why does Bush want to extend the time for the military will spend deployed?

That is too much time for them to spend in Iraq and Afghanistan with all the turmoil. I would not blame the soldiers for speaking up loud and clear. They should be replaced within the year, and replacements should be offered the same rotation. They need that rest, who can deny that?

If control was not Bush’s motive, I’m sure other countries would participate. It’s obvious the country could use some help.

Too many American soldiers are coming home in body bags, and this is not what we want.

Does Bush understand what devastation this military is going through? It’s a dangerous position to be in. Who knows who is who, and how can they alleviate the danger? It’s hard to tell who is friend or foe. It’s a tough situation. What will be Bush’s next move?
