DIXFIELD – The eighth annual Florence and Agape Arsenault reunion was held on July 12 at Mountain View Campground, Route 142.

The oldest members there were Theresa Giambasttista and her brother, Lucien Arsenault. The youngest member was Dillon McPherson, 2, son of Bobby and Monica McPherson. His grandparents are Elaine and Mac McPherson of Rumford.

Guests came from Ohio, South Carolina and Georgia.

Smith family

HARPSWELL – The Smith family gathered at the Chipman residence in Harpswell for their annual reunion July 19. A potluck dinner was enjoyed. There were 49 family members in attendance.

Officers elected for the year were: president, Rodney Powers of Smithfield and Farmington; vice president, Judy Fairbanks of Industry and Spring Hill, Fla.; secretary, Anita Smith Martin of Old Orchard Ocala, Fla.; treasurer, Doane Corson of Casco and Florida.

Youngest person present was Scott Bryant,11; oldest, Cleon Corson, 91.

After a short business meeting, plans were formulated to hold the 2004 reunion at Camp Fleda Stoney Brook at Stratton. Camp Fleda will be 100 years old and has been in the family for four generations.
