The Miss Maine/Teen USA Pageant is a two-day event that will be held Nov. 29 and 30
DURHAM – Megan Cyr of Durham, daughter of Rebecca and Allen Cyr, has been selected to participate in the 2004 Miss Maine/Teen USA Pageant. The pageant is a two-day event that will be held Nov. 29 and 30 at the Sheraton Tara Hotel.
Each delegate will be judged in swimsuit, evening gown and personal interview. The winner will represent the Pine Tree State in the NBC televised Miss (Teen) USA pageant in 2004. Among her state prizes will be cash, evening gown, wardrobe, modeling scholarship, and an expense-paid trip to the Miss (Teen) USA 2004 and $150,000 in cash and prizes.
Cyr is a student at Brunswick High School. She had been sponsored by her parents, friends and businesses in Durham.
She invites everyone to attend Saturday’s preliminary at 8 p.m. and Sunday’s final competition at 1 p.m. Tickets to both are available at the door.
