What You Will Learn: Information about SBA’s toolbox and Empowering America’s Entrepreneurs. There will be various handouts to assist small business owners/start ups. Q & A will follow if time allows.

11a.m. – noon “Website Needs Assessment The Things You Need to Know and Tools You Need to Use to Have a Business Website”

Who Should Attend: Any business wishing to improve their existing website or start up a new website.

What You Will Learn: How a business incubator works, what the benefits are and is it for you.

2-3 p.m. “E Commerce is not EZ Commerce”

Presented by: Marita Fairfield Women’s Business Counselor, Telecommunications, Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI)

Who Should Attend: Anyone wishing to gain information about online-business and how E- Commerce really works.

What You Will Learn: How E-Commerce works and tips and tools that have been tried and proven.

SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS AND EXHIBIT AREAS

Living Well in the River Valley – Interactive displays organized by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition

Art/Photography Exhibit Featuring local artisans displaying their work

Kids Extravaganza – Activities for children organized by Maureen’s Preschool

Sign your child in and be able to browse the exhibits at your leisure knowing your children will be having fun. The 20th Masonic District Officers Assoc. Child Identification Program (CHIPS) will offer a free Child Identification program.

Community Service Exhibits – Local non-profit and service organizations

Home Based Businesses – Anything from Pampered Chef, Avon, Mary-Kay, Longaberger etc.

Tastes of the River Valley – Local restaurants and food services serving up their menu choices in the cafeteria

Also displaying will be Life Flight, DARE, Rumford Fire Department and Rumford Police Department in addition to entertainment and demonstrations throughout the day.
