GETTING READY: Technicians assemble a huge satellite dish Wednesday that will be installed on the roof of the old Pontiac building at 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Oxford Networks will use the dish to receive video content for its planned digital television service for Lewiston and Auburn. It’s part of the company’s $15 million to $20 million fiber optic investment in downtown Lewiston and Auburn. The company hopes to provide digital cable television and Internet services to the Twin Cities by the end of the year. The Simulsat 5 antenna measures 28 feet across. When it’s up and running, the dish will be able to receive signals from 35 satellites simultaneously.
