FARMINGTON – The Farmington Ski Club will hold a work party from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Titcomb Mountain to prepare for the new season and invites any and all to come join in. Participants do not need to be members of the club and they may work for an hour or for the day.

A wide variety of projects will be worked on including outdoor cutting and hauling of brush, stacking firewood, painting, carpentry, indoor projects and some clerical organizing.

Participants are asked to wear work clothes and if you have clippers, blade brush trimmers, or chain saws, bring them along with eye protection. The club will have some equipment, gloves and eye protection available.

The club also reminds everyone of their Pass Blast weekend. It is always the third weekend in October and it is the time for the very best prices on a season pass. This year it is on Oct. 18 and 19.

Check out the Web site, www.titcombmountain.com, which is currently being updated for the new season, or call 778-9031 for more information.
