1964 – 2003

TURNER – Alan W. Dickie, 39, a resident of North Shore Road in Turner, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 23.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1964, in Stoneham, Mass., the son of William F. Dickie and Sandra L. Kempf.

He was a graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield. He was a member of Local 119 working as a pipefitter for SWB at International Paper Co. in Jay. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his father, Bill of Auburn; his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Ira Kempf of Hartford; two sisters, Linda Autrey of Jay and Colleen Childs and her husband Jeffery of Leeds; a brother, Troy Dickie and his wife Sandra of Turner; a companion, Jane Pelletier and her son, Brandon of Turner; nieces, nephews and several cousins.
