So now thanks to a slip of the tongue by Vice President Cheney, the American public got to see and hear just how much deception is coming out of Washington. This includes polls and spin talk.

The latest success in Washington to be unearthed and corrected by our revered, by the rich only, now sitting president is blaming Saddam Hussein for the World Trade Center disaster. How could a poll taken state that 69 percent of the public said that Saddam Hussein was responsible for the WTC horror?

How did the spin masters in Washington manage to get the public to forget about Osama bin Laden and pin the WTC on Iraq?

The truth is all about power and money. In 1989, Iraq was considered one of the wealthiest states in the Middle East, even with a dictator. In 1990, our ambassador to Iraq assured Hussein the United States had no interest in his planned invasion of Kuwait, so he went in. We all know what went on in 1991 as we liberated Kuwait.

Now, to justify a war by lying and misinformation against a country that could not or would not dare attack this powerful country is one for the military history books. Does anyone recall that the U.N., mostly backed by the United States, embargo that killed thousands of women, children and elderly in Iraq? I am not a friend of Iraq, but believe in calling a spade a spade.
