AUBURN – Cindy Bradbury, owner of Hair Connection, has announced its third annual haircut fund-raiser from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the salon, 1543 Hotel Road.

Each year the salon holds the fund-raiser and donates the profits to an agency in need. The recipients of this year’s donations will be Advocates for Children, a local nonprofit agency that focuses on the enrichment, well-being and safety of children in Androscoggin County.

Among its many programs are school-based education programs on bullying and personal safety, Healthy Families Androscoggin and the Parent Resource Center. Last year the proceeds were given to the Sexual Assault Crises Center of Lewiston.

Five stylists will provide haircuts for men, women and children with a minimum donation of $10 each. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be given to Advocates for Children.
