1926 – 2003

TOGUS – Malcolm L. Maxim, 77, formerly of Buckfield died Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Togus, following a long illness of cancer.

He was born in Buckfield on Feb. 6, 1926, the son of Pearl and Ina Turner Maxim. He was raised and attended school in Buckfield. He worked on local farms and factories before being called into the U.S. Army. He loved animals and enjoyed bowling, dancing, outings and music.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews; his guardian; and the devoted medical staff at Togus.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Doris Jack; and two brothers, Clinton and Vint Maxim.
