PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – The body of a Massachusetts man who is believed to have jumped from the Interstate 95 bridge Thursday was recovered from the Piscataqua River.

New Hampshire State Police received a call Thursday afternoon of an abandoned truck on the bridge.

The Coast Guard and Maine Marine Patrol recovered the body shortly after 6 p.m. near Kittery Point on the Maine side of the river.

The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, but officials said he was from Norton, Mass.
