AUBURN- Josh Dwinal got the St. Dom’s rolling with a goal 11 minutes into the game as the Saints rolled over Traip 5-0 Saturday afternoon in the Western Maine Conference.
Pat Ouelette punched in a goal and earned an assist. Jack Lavoie, Sean Longeley and Roland Hamonn each had goals for the Saints
For Traip’s attempt, Connor Kuehl had six saves on 15 shots on his goal.
Monmouth 7, Mountain Valley 1
MONMOUTH – Mark Wade scored a hat trick, including a header, just 40 seconds into the contest to point Monmouth to a 7-1 win over Mountain Valley in MVC boys’ soccer action Saturday.
The Mustangs (6-2) dominated the first half offense, scoring four unanswered goals to take a 4-0 lead at the half. Stu Isaacson contributed three assists in the first half, including a pair to Wade and another to Brian Gardner in the closing minutes.
The Falcons (3-3) got their only goal of the game on a direct kick from Pat Harris eight minutes into the second half.
Corey Wilson made 11 saves in net for the Falcons, while Kyle Pelletier stopped four for the Mustangs.
