AUBURN – Erica Dorso notched three goals and two assists to lead undefeated St. Dom’s to a 5-2 win over Old Orchard Beach in WMC field hockey action Saturday.
Caitlin Rutt added a goal and two assists for the Saints (8-0), while Ilissa Vallee stopped 19 shots.
Alison Raye and Ciara Pratt each scored for the Seagulls, while Nicole Couty stopped seven between the pipes.
Oxford Hills 2, Messalonskee 0
SOUTH PARIS – Brianna Thompson scored a goal on a pass from Annette Fuller just 3:08 into the game, and Val Seams made eight saves to record the shutout as Oxford Hills downed Messalonskee 2-0 in KVAC field hockey action Saturday.
Ellie Schwaner tallied the other goal for the Vikings (4-2-1) on a pass from Tia Pratt at 12:02 of the second half. Lauren Bridges had five saves for the Eagles (3-4), who outshot Oxford Hills 14-8.

St. Dom’s 6, Buckfield 0
AUBURN – St. Dom’s used six different players to produce six goals as the Saints handed Buckfield a 6-0 setback in WMC soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Saints’ (4-4) Renee Meservier tallied a goal after depositing a feed from Allie Turgeon at 16:10 of the first half.
Abby Gilbert, Lindsey Rowbothan, Lauren Potvin, Sarah Caron and Ali Gagnon each added a goal in the Saints’ homecoming win.
Emily Staszak registered the shutout without recording a save.
EL 2, Leavitt 2
TURNER – Lindsey Visbaras and Beth Esponnette each scored a second-half goal as Edward Little and Leavitt played to a 2-2 tie in KVAC soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Hornets scored the first goal of the game as Allison Kenney blasted home an unassisted goal, while Ashlee Naylor added a second-half goal.
Jordan Beall made 18 saves for the Hornets while Brittany French turned back 13 shots in net for the Red Eddies.
Monmouth 1, Dirigo 0
MONMOUTH- With 4:47 left in the match, Alex Gauthier fired Monmouth’s game-winning from 25 yards out as the Mustangs tipped Dirigo with a 1-0 shutout in the Mountain Valley Conference Saturday afternoon.
For the Mustangs (4-3-1), freshman goalkeeper Cortney Barrett fended off 12 of 18 shots on her net. The Cougars’ (3-4) Christina Chow blocked four shots on her goal.
Maranacook 7, Lincoln 0
NEWCASTLE-Toby Martin earned a hat trick as Maranacook marched over Lincoln Academy with a 7-0 victory in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Saturday.
The Black Bears’ Jojo Illand, Christina Spencer, Katie Watts and Alli Trafton each scored goals throughout the first half.
For the Eagles’ effort, goalie tender Kassie Berry had seven saves on her net.
Mountain Valley 1, Mt. Abram 0
RUMFORD – Tanya Nicols lifted a crossing pass from the 15-yard line into the top right corner of the net to hand Mountain Valley a 1-0 victory over Mt. Abram in MVC girls’ soccer action Saturday.
The Roadrunners (4-4) applied heavy offensive pressure, outshooting the Falcons (2-2-4) by a margin of 30-8. Faclons’ goalie Sasha Theriault made 18 saves along the way for the shutout.
With 1:23 left in regulation, Hilary Glaus made a spectacular defensive save by moving quickly in line with the shot on goal and kicking it out of bounds for Mountain Valley.
