LEWISTON – Anne R. White has been promoted to an officer in the Information Security Department at Banknorth Group Inc. in Lewiston. As an information security analyst, she will continue to analyze and administer security for the mainframe as well as new and existing business applications.

White joined Banknorth in 1993 and has 12 years in banking. She previously served as an IT support desk analyst, commercial loan servicing supervisor, loan specialist and teller. White is a member of the Information Systems Security Association.

A Greene resident and native, White volunteers with the March of Dimes. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine, Augusta, and a 1975 graduate of Lewiston High School.
