AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is preparing for another year of its Skills and Drills Basketball Program. The program is for students in kindergarten and first grade.

Preregistration runs Oct. 6 to 19 at the YMCA, while the season will begin Oct. 20 and run through the week of Dec. 15. Session 1 will be held from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and Session 2 from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Friday.

Each session will focus on the introduction and development of skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting and team play.

Both sessions will be held at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA. Cost will be a $28 program fee plus a yearly $43 YMCA youth membership.

Participants will receive a YMCA basketball T-shirt and a certificate, with a group photo, upon completion of the program.
