LIVERMORE FALLS – A successful Chinese auction was held Monday by the Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens at Murray Hall. Proceeds will be donated to the Food Cupboard.

Chairman Shirley Couture led the business meeting and Mary Groleau led the group in singing “In the Garden.” Welcomed back were Cecile Hathaway and Blanche Newell and listed as being ill was Blanche Bilodeau.

Happy birthday was sung to those observing September birthdays and a thank you was received from Androscoggin Home Health for a donation in memory of Lionel Richard.

Dora Slovak won the drawing that was won last week by Pat Couture.
