BOSTON (AP) – Just in case there wasn’t enough motivation for the Boston Red Sox to take Saturday’s must-win Game Three in the American League Division Series against Oakland, here’s another one: the band Boston are scheduled to sing the national anthem at Sunday’s Game Four.

Family members of former New England Patriot and philanthropist Ron Burton, who passed away late last month after a long battle with cancer, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday.

Among the family members will be Burton’s son, Ron Burton Jr., who is a manager of community athletic programs for the Red Sox.

The Barenaked Ladies will perform the national anthem before Saturday’s game.

And if the more than 30,000 screaming Fenway faithful won’t be enough, the Sox will also get a boost from a building.

Boston Properties, which manages the Prudential Center, says it will illuminate the west side of the downtown landmark, which faces Fenway, to spell the message: “Go Sox.” The building’s managers say it will take about 300 man hours to light all the lights between floors 32 and 49, and lower the blinds on 931 windows.

The Red Sox dropped the first two games to the Athletics. They host Oakland at Fenway Saturday in the third game of the best-of-five series.

If the Sox win, they will play Game 4 at Fenway on Sunday afternoon.

Game Five would be held in Oakland.
