In response to Stephanie Lambert’s letter in which she says that anti-war protesters should get out of the country, I offer my view (Sept. 29).

This country was founded on the premise of religious freedom; therefore, I am free to believe that thou shalt not kill. If everyone, including the military, also believed this, we wouldn’t need a military. And I believe that when you have to face the music, it matters how you lived and died.

Some have died because a terrorist blew up their bus. Others have died while attempting to kill people they didn’t even know, because George Bush told them to. Let God be the judge.
