RUMFORD – The SAD 43 board will learn of several staff appointments and resignations when it meets on Monday. Board members are also expected to act on two short-term leave requests.
The regular twice-monthly board meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the library of Mountain Valley High School.
A Finance Committee meeting will precede the full board meeting at 5:45 p.m. in the principal’s conference room. At that meeting, members will review the September financial statement and act on a request for the purchase of surveillance cameras already installed at Mountain Valley Middle School.
During the regular board session, the announcement of the resignations of bus driver/custodian Carleton Dickey and secondary science teacher Erica Haywood will be announced. Appointments to open positions are expected to include Kristin Brooks as a Title I educational technician for the district’s elementary and middle schools, Katie Mazza as a literacy/math educational technician at the middle school, and Pam Rousseau as science department chair at the high school.
The board also plans to meet in a closed session to discuss contract negotiations with the nutrition workers and educational technician bargaining units.
