BERLIN, N.H. – The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, directed by Bill Tole, will appear at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at the Community Arts Center, 155 Emery St. The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra continues to be in demand all over the world.

Guest artist
BRIDGTON – Varbara Harmon, artist and illustrator, will be featured at the Bridgton Art Guild’s first guest artist from Oct. 10 to 25 at Gallery 302in downtown Bridgton. Fire safety
PARIS – The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, at the VFW Hall on East Main Street in South Paris. Guest speaker will be Frank Staley, assistant fire chief of Norway, who will give an update on fire and electrical safety. Guests are welcome.
Bridge winners
NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge played a five-table Howell Movement on Oct. 3. Pete Cummings and Richard Allen came in first. Second was Woody Mercier and Donna Swett. Third place was Richard Balian and Donald Johnson and fourth Mimi Bell and Rowena Palmer.
