1955 – 2003

AUGUSTA – John Wentworth Milton, 48, of Mechanic Falls passed away on Sunday evening, Oct. 5, following a long illness.

John was the son of Robert and Virginia Milton of Mechanic Falls. He attended local schools and Hebron Academy.

He was an avid reader, a Celtics fan, and a writer of poetry. Music was his greatest comfort. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.

In addition to his mother and father, he will be sadly missed by his brother, Stanley and his wife, Susan, of Andover; his sister, Patricia of Mechanic Falls and her fiancé, Scott Hamilton; a niece, Lori Chouinard and her husband, David, and their children, Joshua and Hannah of Turner; a niece, Jennifer and her children, Brittany and Hunter of Rumford; and his paternal grandmother, Vivian Milton of Auburn.
