Bridge puzzle for sale

ANDOVER – The Historical Society will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Refreshments will be served. The Covered Bridge puzzle will be for sale, along with other items.

Cemetery request

MEXICO – The Farrington Morton Cemetery Association representatives are asking that all plants, containers and arrangements be removed from the cemetery by Sunday, Oct. 12, in preparation for winter.

Candle sales

MEXICO – Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 14, and continuing through Friday, Nov. 14, the Public Library will hold a Village Candle fund-raiser. The candle company is based in Topsham. Catalogs will be available at the library until Nov. 14. All orders should arrive in time for Christmas. All money raised from fund-raiser will go to the Mexico Public Library.
